The Elmwood ALL Volunteer Fire Department is in need of additional personnel. Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be a Firefighter? Have you ever wanted to volunteer in your community? We have positions for everyone. From actual firefighting, to support positions, we can use your help. All training and equipment is provided by the department. The Elmwood Fire Department is a progressive Department with the latest technology in providing emergency services. Being a volunteer firefighter is a very rewarding job. The Elmwood Volunteer Fire Department provides a vast array of Emergency Services ranging from Vehicle Extrication, Haz-mat response, to actual Firefighting. We respond to 200 calls per year. Cash Donations are always needed and welcomed if you cannot help by volunteering your time and skills.  We hold business meeting the first Thursday of every month at 7 PM.
